Our fleet of machinery including bituminous pavers of various sizes and planning equipment allow us to deliver high volume output. We have constructed road realignments and new builds in both bituminous and concrete carriageways.
Our teams construct concrete footpaths with high quality finishes. We also have considerable expertise in high quality granite paving on footpaths, bituminous footpaths, block paving and concrete flag construction.
Richard Nolan Civil Engineering have constructed many high quality cycle routes including junction alterations and antiskid red surfacing. We have recently constructed a dedicated cycle route along the N11 in Dublin City.
Our mini paving machines allow us to achieve a very high standard of finish. We also constructed phases 3, 4, 5 of the Dublin city Premium Cycle Route on behalf of Dublin City Council.
Due to our experience and trenching ability we have completed numerous drainage schemes. Concrete drainage lines of varying diameters and manhole construction are carried out with precision and with ease. Our extensive list of heavy plant for trench excavation and our ability to utilise specialist heavy equipment allows us to construct drainage in areas of technical difficulty such as bedrock.
We have recently completed a scheme of traffic calming ramps for South Dublin County Council and Dublin City Council. We can provide a range of materials with a high quality construction and integrated traffic management.

We are happy to provide Trenchless technology solutions to a range of clients and have installed Water mains, Telecoms multi ducting, electricity ducting and sewer (at gradient) in bores from 150mm to 750mm in diameter over various lengths under rivers, railway, canals, motorways both in Urban and rural settings through all types of soils including rock. We provide a highly specialised alternative to open cut trenching and have completed many large scale HDD projects with total customer and stake holder satisfaction.
